We’re thrilled to announce that FaberExposize UK and sister company Northern Flags have secured two award nominations for Sustainability and Business of the Year 50+ Employees at the SME National Business Awards 2022. This recognition comes after industry accolades for Sustainability and Innovation at the Digital Printer Awards. Furthermore, we received nominations for Best Marketing Campaign at the BPMA Awards and Environmental Company of the Year at the Printweek Awards.

Sustainability

Action Now began as an auditing project where we assessed the sustainability credentials of our suppliers to ensure our supply chain was ethical and sustainable. Consequently, the initiative quickly transformed into a cultural umbrella for the company. Our management team initiated numerous internal and external changes to reflect the company’s green efforts on all levels. We launched educational programs for staff members on the benefits of manufacturing sustainable products and encouraged our team to give eco-friendly alternatives to all customer quotes. We established a Zero-landfill policy on our entire company waste and invested in new finishing equipment to ensure materials can go straight into the recycling stream. As well as that, we created a planet-friendly Enviro product range and designed our first Action Now brochure. Our team distributed the brochure to clients in industries including Exhibitions, Construction, Sports & Events, Hospitality, Retail and Automotive. 

Business of the Year

Throughout the past year, we’ve invested in the growth of our business like never before. In six months we welcomed two new high-capacity printers. This allowed our business to pivot into a full-service wide format printer assisting companies with their transition to sustainability. We’ve significantly increased our workforce as part of our investment and training strategy. As a result, we onboarded more people whilst competitors initiated large redundancy programmes. Our factory continues to expand with the construction of a mezzanine Pick and Pack floor.

Going forward

Despite our many achievements, we are constantly working on improving our existing range of products. FaberExposize UK will continue to grow exponentially and inspire businesses, employees and customers to take Action Now! The SME Business Awards ceremony takes place at Wembley Stadium, London on Friday 2nd December 2022.
